Voor deze editie van de Textiel Biënnale nodigt Museum Rijswijk kunstenaars uit om vanuit hun eigen praktijk en perspectief te reflecteren op het thema ‘koloniale patronen’. We beschouwen patronen bewust in ruime zin: als decoratief motief, als herhaling, als sociaal of historisch systeem, als zichtbare structuur én als onzichtbare erfenis. De Textiel Biënnale 2027 | Koloniale patronen vindt plaats van 8 juli tot en met 21 november.

* Alleen aanmeldingen via dit formulier worden in behandeling genomen. Het indienen van een voorstel betekent niet automatisch dat het werk opgenomen wordt in de tentoonstelling. Het artistieke team van Museum Rijswijk maakt de selectie op basis van kwaliteit van de werken, de manier waarop textiel wordt ingezet in het werk en geschiktheid in relatie tot het thema.

For this edition of the Textile Biennial, Museum Rijswijk invites artists to reflect on the theme of ‘colonial patterns’ from the perspective of their own practice and practice. We consciously view patterns in a broad sense: as a decorative motif, as repetition, as a social or historical system, as a visible structure, and as an invisible legacy. The Textile Biennial 2027 | Colonial patterns takes place from July 8 to November 21.
